MLK Commemoration and March in Portsmouth - Audio
            August 8th, 2013

            8-29-2013 1-48-35 PMBurial_ground

On August 28th, Portsmouth residents gathered at the African American burial site to remember and celebrate the dream of Martin Luther King, and to renew his call for our nation’s promises of equality and racial justice to be fulfilled.

The following recording was very slightly edited, removing sections that were not audible.   Here’s the file: MP3 (40 minutes)

Or the shorter edit for the August 31st edition of ‘Making Waves’ (21 minutes).

“Let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.”  Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
