Tango 3.0 is another stellar release from Gotan Project, a French-Argentine formation, which started to redefine the shape of modern tango electronico with their first album Revancha del Tango.

Almost all the pieces on the album are original. The album is an ingenious mix of tango, Argentine folk, jazz and rock. It features the voice of Hugo Morales, the famous Argentine soccer commentator (La Gloria, an ultimate modern piece for tango dancing), Daniel Melingo (Tu Misterio, another great song for dancing).

My personal favorite on Tango 3.0  is Tango Square, a slow jazzy melody with nice overlay of trumpet sound.
