Doug Simmons was an original host on WSCA-LP with his show “Frank ‘n Friends.” In addition he served for several years
as a member of the Engineering Committee. Thanks, Doug for all your work at Portsmouth Community Radio!
eXtreme Helen was a dj on WSCA hosting a late night show that was “eXtremely” popular. She also was a great spokesperson
for Portsmouth Community Radio and could be found at many fundraising events talking to the crowd, djing, helping to raise
funds for the station. In addition she did a lot of vocal acting on Audio Theatre. Thanks for all your volunteer work at WSCA-LP.
Rick Dirck was the host of “Eros” that ran on Saturdays from Midnight to 6 am Sunday Morning.
Rick has been an excellent volunteer at WSCA-LP, contributing much time and effort in helping
the station grow. Thanks, Rick.
Liz Wright, Jenny Freeman, and Peg O’Neil of “Portsmouth At Large”, now with Valerie Smith replacing Jenny and Peg. Show focuses on news about the non-profit organizations in the Seacoast. This very valuable, informative, and entertaining program is an example of the best that community radio offers.

Fran Clark has had many roles at Portsmouth Community Radio, including host of “Soul Vaccination.” Fran has also been an Engineer at the station and served as a member of the station’s Board.
Every Sunday night, 10 pm to midnight, it’s time for the Skeezix Sound System, two hours of Jamaican musical stylings and all things dubby! The Seacoast’s most eclectic “reggae” show.
