WSCA News & Notes
On Friday June 17th, 9-10 am, Ann Haggart’s show Radiogazette will feature a local news story compiled by WSCA DJ April Mulkern (Stage Door - Saturdays, 8-10 am) about Porstmouth Museum of Art’s “STREET AKA Museum” exhibit.
If you have been around downtown Portsmouth in the past month, you have probably noticed a bunch of murals painted on buildings housed on Marcy Street, Bow Street, Pleasant Street and many others buildings on various streets around town. The murals that are a part of this exhibit have polarized the Portsmouth Community into those who appreciate and enjoy the street art and to those who do not appreciate the art.
Tune in hear all about this exhibit and reactions from Portsmouth citizens about “STREET AKA Museum.”
Meet Foo our SPCA animal up for adoption. And just as importantly, meet Jon Brooks, NH artist and craftsman — he’s having a special exhibition at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester. (Photo: Bluetable 1969 by Jon Brooks)

Radiogazette presents a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King,Jr. through a conversation with Dr. Arthur Hilson (photo above), who attended the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. We listen to the speech given by Dr. King on that day in August 1963. We find that there is a lot more than “I have a Dream” to this historic speech.
