NOVEMBER 30, 2012
Dear Friends,
Look what we’re brewing up over at Portsmouth Community Radio! This very cool mug is just one of the many reasons why you should consider making a donation to Portsmouth Community Radio during our eight-day Harvest the Power of Community drive, which began on Thursday, November 29.
“This drive is an opportunity to celebrate our eight years of local, independent, and commercial-free programming produced by local folks for our community,” said Jean Proulx, the station’s Pledge Drive Director. ”Although WSCA is all volunteer, nearly 100 strong, we still have operating costs in order to stay on air. As we look to our ninth year, we’re reaching out to our listeners to support us in our Harvest the Power of Community drive. Our goal is to reach $25,000. Our listenership understands the importance of local programming - this simply isn’t available anywhere else.”
Making a pledge by calling 603-430-9722 (for this brand new, oversized mug or a newly designed T-shirt - or both if you pledge $106.10 or more) is a great way to show your support for Portsmouth Community Radio. And, throughout the drive, WSCA will be donating the first dollar of every pledge to disaster relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
