Election Night - November 5th - Begins 7:15 PM - Live From City Hall - This Event Is An Important Part Of What Community Radio Does - See Details Below - And Please Support Portsmouth Community Radio’s Fall Fundraiser
    October 26, 2013

Starting at 7:15 p.m on November 5, WSCA-FM 106.1 (on the web at wscafm.org) will broadcast live from City Hall the results of the Portsmouth Municipal Election. Station volunteers will be at each of the city’s 5 wards to obtain the tallies when the polls close at 7 and then report those results to the WSCA Election News Team. A running tally of all votes will be kept so that listeners will know within a matter of minutes who has been elected to the City Council, School Board, Police commission and Fire Commission, and who the next Mayor will be.

WSCA’s Charlie Griffin, Kathy Sommsich and Larry Drake will join with Roger Wood and Lincoln Soldati to bring you our exclusive Portsmouth Municipal Election coverage. Together they will analyze the results and give their take on what they mean. Interviews with many of the successful candidates will cap off the evening. Whether you are a political junkie or just an interested citizen you won’t want to miss this special event which is just another example of your Community Radio Station in action !

This Special Programming Event takes place during Portsmouth Community Radio’s Fall Fundraiser celebrating our ninth year on the air - This is just one of the many public service programs that WSCA-LP 106.1 FM provides the Seacoast community.
