After 7 1/2 years on the air at WSCA, Wake Up is changing its name, co-hosts and format. Kathy Somssich, who was one of the original Wake Up voices, will be joined by local activist Larry Drake in co-hosting their new show Seacoast Currents. The new show will focus on interviews with the movers and shakers of the Seacoast. Same time (Thursdays, 8 am to 10 am), same station, same progressive political perspective.

Seizure alert dogs have an amazing natural ability to warn of impending seizure activity up to an hour in advance—allowing their partners to move to a safe environment. for the duration of the seizure. Canine Partners for Life (Pennsylvania) is one of only five organizations worldwide to place seizure alert dogs. To date, CPL has placed over 500 service and home companion dogs in 43 states.
Jean will discuss this topic with Jackie Jarest who has applied for a Seizure Alert Dog (she lives in Greenland NH) and Harry Reed, care giver for and advocate of people with disabilities.
