WSCA News & Notes
Judy Collins and "Stay Tuned" Host, Shawn Henderson
Host Shawn Henderson of WSCA’s excellent “Stay Tuned” program, had the opportunity to interview Judy Collins during a “Sunday Special” Stay Tuned show on July 25th.
At the last minute, Miss Collins was unable to make it to the studio for the interview and thanks to one of our engineers, Rocky, who was able to utilize the station’s new remote broadcast equipment, Shawn was able to conduct the interview live from Jonathan”s in Ogunquit.
We thought we would share a photo from that interview and thank Shawn, Rocky, and of course Miss Judy Collins for making this very special event happen on Portsmouth Community Radio, WSCA-LP 106.1 fm. Congratulations to all for a job well done!
“Stay Tuned” with Shawn Henderson is heard each Friday from 1:30 -5 pm on Portsmouth Community Radio 106.1 fm and online at www.wscafm.org and click on “Listen Now”
Songwriter and singer Judy Collins is a living legend. For nearly 40 illustrious years, her dulcet tones have graced our ears, and her poetic lyrics galvanized a generation. She has released more than 30 albums, has had numerous Top Ten hits, Grammy nominations and gold and platinum selling albums.
I am proud to announce that she will join Shawy Henderson live on Stay Tuned for a special Sunday edition of Stay Tuned.
