Pawsitive Thoughts host, Jean Proulx, recently received the above photo of Alladin, who listens via our Internet stream all the way to Germany! Who says a Low Power FM station doesn’t span the world? Who says that our programming doesn’t attract a varied audience? Certainly not Jean Proulx!
The Kitchen Sink
with JASON BROWN
Wednesdays, 8-10 pm
Black Francis of The Pixies once commented, “I quickly learned that, on one hand, there was the music everyone was listening to, and, on the other, there were those other, better records to discover.”
Every Wednesday at 8 pm, Jason Brown explores those other records on The Kitchen Sink, focusing on the bands and artists popular on college and underground radio over the past several decades: from The Jam to Steve Earle, Guided by Voices to Morrisey, Wilco to Nick Lowe. New releases by honest, creative bands from the region and the world are also featured regularly on the program.
Don’t miss The Kitchen Sink, this Wednesday at 8 pm.
